Ay, I'm glad you liked it! I may not be able to give as detailed advice as I'd like, as it's been quite a while since I've played B1, but the most general advice I can give is to use both Debla of the Lights and Pelican Effigy. They both give a very generous number of i-frames, and let you safely avoid difficult moves like Thorn's empowered diagonal and horizontal lunges while either dealing good damage or getting a a heal off respectively. I'd HIGHLY recommend using the Reliquary of the Fervent Heart as well if you have it, since the passive Fervour regen makes having enough Debla's to dodge those moves when necessary much easier. I don't think recommending specific loadouts/items to people struggling is generally the best approach, so feel free to use whatever you like or find comfortable. These things were such an incredible boon to me throughout all of the Sorrows that I thought I should highlight them. A tip for all of the Amanecidas is to go SUPER aggressive as soon as you notice them lowering to the ground to regenerate their shield. Either a 4-hit uppercut combo or a Debla will reliably stagger them out of this move, which helps to shorten the fight by doing a chunk of safe damage while also no longer having to waste hits on breaking the shield again. Sometimes you can't catch the animation in time, and Laudes is immune to being staggered out of it entirely, but it's always a good idea to try for it and dash away if it's clear you won't get it in time, since succeeding cuts down the fight time so significantly. For Molten Thorn, the main issues with her for me were the horizontal and diagonal lunges. For the diagonal ones, simply dashing under her right before she lunges works well to avoid her. For the last lunge that makes a shockwave, a dash and a jump will do, but I oftentimes went for a Delba as she came down instead to get a full hit of it off on her, as that's normally quite challenging. Her normal horizontal lunges are easy enough to parry with enough practice, but the empowered ones are a much different story. She telegraphs this by dropping a tight-knit cluster of spikes somewhere in the arena, at which point you should IMMEDIATELY jump up on them and up to the top platform, wait for her to dash, then get back down before she's finished her second. If you can't make it up top in time, it's possible to dodge the move with either a use of Debla or healing with the Pelican Effigy. Other than that, remember that the spikes she summons can be attacked to activate them early, so make sure to clear out an area to maneuver around whenever she drops them in a spread pattern across the arena (I don't think she ever does the empowered lunge when dropping spikes in that pattern, but I could be misremembering) For Chiseled Steel, she has a lot of really tricky moves, but the counters to them aren't too daunting once you know them. You kind of have to assume that ANY time you hit her in neutral, or after she attacks, that she's gonna spin away and leave an explosive clone. As such, always be prepared to move away if necessary, and don't commit to any big moves unless she's in another animation already. The spinning blades she fires can be deflected with not only Mea Culpa, but your blood cast as well, so use those to clear them off the field as soon as possible whenever she fires the big spreads of them. The move where she spins back and forth across the arena and fires spinning blades is horrible UNTIL you discover that you can avoid it entirely by just ducking at the ledge on either side of the arena. You can see me go for some greedy blood casts in this video to get extra damage off, but I think it's better to just stay safe and let her finish before resuming attacking. The sword slam waves are countered best with parries, and her aerial lunges are best avoided by dashing through them. OK wow I had a lot more to say than I thought.
